Decatur Farmers Market Tomorrow 9-1 p.m.

June 8, 2012 | Filed under: Uncategorized

Hello ,

Don’t Forget, our anniversary celebrations next week. Chef Billy Allin of Cakes and Ale will be doing a chef demo on Saturday using a Darby Farm pasture raised chicken as part of Georgia Pastured Poultry Week.

Dumpling Girl will be back tomorrow. She will be offering delicious Ban Mi sandwiches, amazing dumplings, wraps and other goodness. She uses locally and sustainable grown meats and vegetables on her fabulous sandwiches. We are excited to welcome her to market.

In addition to their sweet juicy peaches, Pearson Farm will be representing a long time friend of mine, Cleveland Organics, who grows organic blackberries. Try them out they will be delightful.

Tink’s Grassfed Beef will have lots of their grassfed beef and pork for you.

Costa’s Pasta will be back too, with delicious pastas and sausages.

Hidden Springs Farm will have honey and eggs.

Nazifa’s Bakery will be bringing some delicious hummus, baklava, dolmos, naan bread and other exotic delights.

Johnston Dairy will be at market tomorrow with milk, cream, mozzarella and butter.

Tomorrow our farmers will have yellow squash, zucchini, maybe tomatoes, bulb fennel, parsley, dill, basil, carrots, dandelion greens, lettuce, turnips, beets, radishes, arugula, onions,   and more fresh produce.

Revolution Doughnuts will wake you up with coffee, teas and yummy baked goodies (we hope).

Goodness Gracious Granola will have their awesome locally made granola.

Zocalo will spice it up with their savory salsas and tamales.

Tia’s Chia will be bringing delicious chia based gluten free goodies.

Formaggio will have local and regional cheeses, Magnolia Bread Co. organic breads, olives, pasta sauce and cured meats.

Paradise Found Farm will be serving some fine pestos.

King of Pops will have chill popsicles for you too.

Alta Cucina will have her lovely infused oilve oils, vinegars and sassy pestos too.

Come on out and support the loconomy.

Thanks,
Duane
